Many people had heard the term LISK, but never fully understood the story behind it. After the 2023 arrest of Rex Heuermann, the case returned to the national spotlight and renewed questions about the murders connected to Gilgo Beach and the remains discovered along Ocean Parkway.
In this episode, we step back and look at what we actually know right now — how the investigation began, who the victims were, the controversy surrounding the early investigation, and why the Gilgo Beach case may still have unanswered questions as it moves toward trial.
⚠️ Trigger Warning
This episode discusses violent crime, murder, and sensitive topics that may be disturbing to some listeners. Listener discretion is advised.
